 Here in this article I've jotted down grammar syllabus for MCQ's portion in matric exams, although it covers only 5 marks out of 75 marks.

2. Phrases

i. Noun Phrase

vi. Participle Phrase.

vii. Infinitive Phrase.

3. Clauses

i. Independent Clause.

ii. Dependent Clause.

Dependent Clause is further divided into its sub-categories.

     i. Noun Clause.

     ii. Adjective Clause.

     iii. Adverb Clause.

Adverb is further divided into sub-categories.

Adverb Clause of manner.

Adverb Clause of Place.

Adverb Clause of Condition.

Adverb Clause of Reason.

Adverb Clause of Time.

Adverb Clause of Purpose.

Adverb Clause of Comparison.

Adverb Clause of Concession.

4. Sentences

i. Compound Sentence.

Although there are around 28 types of literary devices, for matric class 5 literary devices are to be taught.
